Hello!

First time I was on stage I was performing in a preschool dance recital. By the time I was 25 I had been on countless stages speaking, singing or dancing at conference events, competitions, and more.

As my life grew more dynamic, people would tell me I should write a book and tell my story. People I admired would call me “wise” and “inspirational.”

I didn’t believe them.

I preferred to talk about something fun or make people laugh with my silly dance moves!

My story of overcoming childhood abuse, surviving suicide, self-help, and living through an active shooter situation in my home wasn’t a warm and fuzzy set of anecdotes I wanted to share- though those tales were the true sources of my wisdom and inspirational insights.

Who could my stories help? Who would even want to hear any of it? I certainly didn’t feel like broadcasting it.

After the moment of life-threatening trauma in my own home, I realized the value of seeking love within myself in life’s dark moments and how I had the experience and the blueprint for making it all seamless. Love made all those challenging moments growing up worth it, and it was how I would heal now.

Choosing love isn’t always easy- sometimes it feels like it’s not even an option- but I’m here to say it is always there if we’re brave enough to be honest with ourselves and find it. I know, because I’ve done it many times over.

Now, I share my stories and insights to help others connect with what truly matters in our lives and easily navigate the unpredictable journey of life. No matter how tough, dark or stressful it may seem at times, there is hope. There is always love.

I’m excited to help share this message- and maybe throw in a few whacky dance moves along the way!
